about

Indeed I have many sisters, which is where the autobiographical element of this song begins and ends. A friend also said that it has an unpleasant opening line - true.

We recorded the bass and percussion at the Car Club, which is a real car club (pics of racing cars on walls, a trophy cabinet, a bar, pool table etc) in one half of the space, and then it becomes the rehearsal space for Cassette (or whatever name Craig & Tom are going under) and the Phoenix Foundation. Lots of cool gear lying around.

As we were recording, we had to stop a couple of times because guns were going off. Craig told me that next door was a real gun club. "They hate our music."
